The application process starts with qualification questions to ensure that you meet all the requirements to become an egg donor. Once you meet these you will be prompted to complete the full application where we ask you about your background, health, and motivations for becoming a donor.
After completing your online application, you will have a one-to-one call with our Admissions Manager. We will go through your application and discuss your journey in more detail. You will also have an opportunity to ask us any questions.
The screening process entails a review of any previous IVF medical records.
Once your screening is completed, your profile will be added to our egg donor database. We will notify you once you’ve been selected.
Psychological & Medical screening
If the match is successful you’ll be asked to complete a medical screening and a psychological evaluation by a licensed mental health professional experienced in fertility counseling. You will be tested for HIV and STDs; your spouse or partner will be tested for these as well.
Once you have been psychologically and medically cleared the legal egg donor contract will begin. We will appoint legal counsel for you.
Egg Donation Cycle
You will receive your cycle schedule from the fertility clinic, which has information on when you need to take your medication, how much and upcoming doctor appointments. You will take injectable medications for approximately 2 to 3 weeks to stimulate your ovaries.
Mature eggs are retrieved using mild sedation.
